Entries for all solo piping events – no entries can be accepted before Monday the 1st of June 2026.

Closing date for entries is Sunday the 16th of Aug 2026. There are no entries on the field for local and junior events, please enter online before the closing date. (no late entries can be accepted)

 

Email entries to Stuart Samson: piping@blairgowriehighlandgames.co.uk Informing him what events you intend to enter and he will confirm by return email that your entry has been received.

Competitors will be notified in advance of their draw for each event entered.

The entry fee is the admission fee taken at the gate to gain access to the Highland Games.

 

 

All events start at 10.00am, unless otherwise stated

Registration open from 09.15am – all competitors are required to check in on arrival and collect competitors number badge before competing.

 

Senior (Open) Piobaireachd  (submit 3 tunes)

1st - £100, 2nd - £60, 3rd - £40, 4th - £30

 

CPA B Piobaireachd (submit 3 tunes)

1st - £70, 2nd - £50, 3rd - £40, 4th - £30, 5th - £20

 

CPA C Piobaireachd (submit 3 tunes)

1st - £40, 2nd - £30, 3rd - £25, 4th - £20, 5th - £15

 

Senior (Open) March (submit 3 tunes)

1st - £40, 2nd - £30, 3rd - £25, 4th - £20

 

Senior (Open) Strathspey & Reel (submit 3 tunes)

1st - £40, 2nd - £30, 3rd - £25, 4th - £20

 

CPA C Grade March - will start on completion of Senior Piobaireachd (submit 3 tunes)

1st - £30, 2nd - £25, 3rd - £20, 4th - £10

 

CPA C Grade Strathspey & Reel - will start on completion of Senior Piobaireachd (submit 3 tunes)

Junior (Open) Under 18 Piobaireachd – start 10.00am (submit one tune)

Note: B & C grade piobaireachd events will both be limited to 24 competitors. Entries to these events will be closed on reaching capacity and noted on the Blairgowrie & Rattray Highland Games website page and the CPA website page.
